Kirajade is a surface preparation company on Brisbane’s north side.
We take paint, rust, coatings and grime off metal, stone, concrete and masonry, and leave the surface ready for whatever comes next. Laser cleaning is the tool we built the business around; blasting, washing and grinding are there for the jobs that need them.
We’re Kira and Joshua. We came out of construction and cars, and we started this because the surface is the part of every job that gets rushed. This site tells you what we do, how a job runs, and how to get a straight answer about your own surface.

Four methods under one roof
Laser cleaning
Takes paint, coatings, rust, oxide, soot and biological growth off metal, stone, masonry and concrete. Nothing is added to the surface and the material underneath isn’t touched. We run two lasers, a pulsed unit for fine and heat-sensitive work and a continuous-wave unit for heavy rust and thick coatings, so the job gets the right one.

Heavy scale, thick coatings, and jobs that specify a blast profile on steel or concrete.
Pressure washing
Dirt, mould and loose material over large areas.
Concrete grinding
Floors, walls and overhead. Levelling, removing old coatings, and preparing concrete for the next system.
One contractor for the whole job
If the balustrade needs the laser and the slab needs grinding, that’s one quote and one crew.

Send a photo
A photo and a rough size is enough. We’ll tell you what we’d do and what it involves before anyone drives out.

Method chosen
Laser, blasting, washing or grinding, depending on the surface and what’s on it.

Removal
Only the layer that has to go. With the laser, nothing is added to the surface.

Inspection
We check it with you. If a spot isn’t right, we fix it before we leave.

Handover
The surface ready for the next step, with photos of what came off.

What you’re paying for
The surface comes first
A laser set wrong will mark aluminium and glaze sandstone. We set it for your material and check the first pass with you.
Workshop or on site
Bring it to us, or we come to it. If the part can’t move, or moving it is a pain, we work on site. Around Brisbane and metro SEQ we can organise the transport.
Nothing added to the surface
Blasting drives grit and moisture into the material. Grinding and heat distort it. The laser removes a layer and leaves the rest as it was.
Clean on live sites
No grit to sweep, no slurry to drain, no dust cloud. The building keeps working around us.
